According to the January 19th board meeting, after a closed discussion concerning the matter, the Lubbock-Cooper ISD Board of Trustees voted to extend the contract of superintendent Keith Bryant for 1 year and increase his compensation by 5%, or approximately $14,000, bringing his annual salary to $295,444. Bryant continues to be the highest-paid superintendent in the region.
