Lubbock-Cooper ISD teachers and staff will be getting a 3% across the board pay raise next school year.
Lubbock-Cooper is also evaluating a change in its tax rate decrease. The current rate is a $1.41 per $100 valuation. But the proposed rate would be ¢0.04 less than that.
The board can’t take action on that until tax valuations are certified at the end of next month.
The school board will then vote on any changes to the tax rate in August.
