What are your COVID-19 protocols for the school year?
- WE FOLLOW GOVERNOR’S ORDERS.
- We are continuing our enhanced cleaning protocols.
- We will work with parents to determine the safest course of action for cases of positive or exposed students.
- We do not require the COVID-19 vaccine, but we encourage the vaccine for eligible individuals. The district will offer multiple optional vaccine clinics. It is important that our families make the decision best for them.
- Those who wish to wear face coverings are welcome to do so. (Governor’s orders prevent us from requiring masks.)
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT offer a virtual learning option this year.
Internal Reminders
We are not medical professionals, and we cannot offer medical advice. Parents seeking medical advice should be directed to their healthcare professional or the City of Lubbock Health Department (806) 775-2933.
If a child returns to school before their scheduled return-to-school date without any notification from the parent, send the child to the nurse’s office. The nurse will coordinate with attendance clerk if return-to-school date needs to be updated.
