Two people were seriously injured after a crash just south of Lubbock Tuesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The call came in just after 8:00 a.m. along University Avenue between Woodrow Road and FM 1585.
A white SUV was headed south on University Avenue and failed to stay in its lane. The SUV was struck by a pickup truck that was headed north, Texas DPS said.
Both drivers were taken to University Medical Center.
Pictures from the scene showed a school bus near the road. Lubbock-Cooper ISD confirmed that no school vehicles were involved in the crash.
