Lubbock-Cooper ISD teachers and staff will be getting a 3% across the board pay raise next school year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lubbock-Cooper is also evaluating a change in its tax rate decrease. The current rate is a $1.41 per $100 valuation. But the proposed rate would be \u00a20.04 less than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The board can’t take action on that until tax valuations are certified at the end of next month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school board will then vote on any changes to the tax rate in August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
